That's right...NO TRAINING WHEELS!!!
As you can tell from the video, he's pretty darn excited about it too!!! My husband has SOOOO much patience and patience is exactly what this took! Bryan told Sam over and over, "keep peddling...don't stop peddling!" Sam was wearing wrist/palm protectors and after about 20 minutes he tells Bryan, "Daddy, take these (wrist/palm protectors) off so I can peddle better." What? Yep, he thought peddling was steering! When we cleared up the peddling issue, he was off to the races. In the video you'll see him go to the grass to stop himself. He hasn't quite perfected his braking yet. All in good time. He is super proud of himself and wants to ride his bike all the time now. Isaiah loves having his little bro riding beside him now too! Here are some pics of the momentous occasion as well...
