"5"

That's how old our baby boy is! It's hard to believe how time has flown by with Sam. When we moved to Houston, he was a mere 18 months old (not too much older than his little sis is now) and now he is 5! Crazy!

Although his actual birthday was Sunday (17th) we had his party on Friday (15th). Earlier in the day on Friday, Sam got his first present...

a new bike from Mommy & Daddy!

Sam learned to ride his bike without training wheels a few weeks ago and he was really hoping to get a new, bigger bike to ride! Glad we could grant that wish.


That evening we had Sam's party at a place called Katy End Zone. It's an arcade type place with games, mini bowling and bumper cars. The kiddos LOVED it (and most of the dads did too)! Here are some pics of the party...

What a GREAT party!!!

Sam's actual birthday was celebrated by going to church and then he got to pick where we went to lunch. He chose the "fire place". That is code for Japanese Hibachi, one of our family favorites! Then, we came home to play with all his new toys and ride his new bike. It was a great weekend!

Today Sam, Lexi and I had to go to Walgreens to get something and he proudly proclaimed to the cashier, "My name is Samuel Beaver and I am 5!" He is SO proud of that number!!! He also thought he was going to go to school with bubba this morning and when I told him no, not yet he said, "But Mom, I'm 5 now!" Gotta wait a few more months there buddy.
